Advent International has been investing in Mexico since 1996. We have the largest and most experienced private equity team in the local market, with 15 investment professionals.
Our local office is part of a pan-regional network spanning three countries and comprising of over 40 employees – the strongest on-the-ground presence of any private equity firm in Latin America.
To date, our Mexican team has led over 21 investments in Mexico, the Caribbean and selected markets outside Latin America, covering multiple sectors including airport services, travel retail, apparel retail, food and beverage, financial services, consumer, media and technology.
Our current fund, LAPEF V, capitalized at$1.65 billion, is the largest private equity fund dedicated to Latin America.
