Ben Scotto joined Advent in 2010 and is Deputy Chief Financial Officer, based in Boston. He is responsible for the firm’s financial planning and analysis, the treasury area, which manages the firm’s money and financial risks to support its business strategy and ensure its financial health , and the administration of the general partner entities and carried interest.
Prior to joining Advent, Ben was a director at Deloitte in its private equity practice, where he worked with many of the largest private equity firms. He also worked with clients in the investment banking, mortgage banking, and real estate industries.
Ben received a BS in Accounting, summa cum laude, from Brooklyn College. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a Chartered Financial Analyst.
