Alejandro Alcalde Rasch joined Advent in 2010 and is a Senior Director in Hamburg. He is a member of the Portfolio Support Group. Alejandro works with management teams to improve performance and deliver results needed to realize the investment thesis.
Prior to joining Advent, Alejandro was the Chief Transformation Officer and Head of Supply Chain of Grohe AG, a TPG and CSFB portfolio company, for five years. Before that, he spent 12 years at McKinsey & Company, where he was a Partner in their chemicals practice. Alejandro worked on numerous performance improvement and strategy projects in Europe and in the United States. As a member of McKinsey’s private equity practice, he also worked on several strategic due diligence and post-acquisition projects.
Alejandro has a PhD and Diploma in Business Administration and Management from Gerhard-Mercator University Duisburg.
