JW McGovern joined Advent in 2022 and is a Vice President in Palo Alto. He advises on investments in the technology sector.
Prior to joining Advent, JW worked at Hellman & Friedman, where he focused on investments in the technology and healthcare sectors. Previously, JW was an investment banking analyst at Morgan Stanley in San Francisco.
JW earned a BA in Economics, cum laude, from Yale University and an MBA, with distinction, from Harvard Business School.
