Growing the next generation of investors
We are dedicated to supporting future financial professionals, from all backgrounds, with programs that provide insight into the private equity industry. Accelerate, our undergraduate summer internship program, provides talented individuals hands-on experience to prepare for a career in private equity. In addition, our Women’s Inclusion Network Mentorship Program provides support to current and recent women university graduates as they navigate career advancement and learn about the private equity industry.

Supporting our portfolio companies
We provide hands-on guidance to our portfolio companies to ensure they are operating to their full potential. We support our businesses to drive change by helping them to build strong management teams and boards, engaging the next generation of high-potential and diverse talent through the Advent Leadership Academy, and creating impactful policies to support inclusion at every stage of their organization.
A focus on continuous improvement
We believe the best ideas can be shared by anyone at Advent – and by placing a preeminence on ongoing learning and cultivating deep in-market expertise, we believe we are better equipped to make informed and differentiated decisions.
Associate training program
Our Associates are integral members of our investment teams, and we are committed to providing them with the tools to master their craft. On an annual basis, we host a global Associate training program, convening our Associates across regions to build long-lasting relationships and learn from one another – as well as senior leaders from across the firm.
Apprenticeship program in action
Across Advent, we operate an apprenticeship-based model, allowing our junior colleagues to work closely with and learn from more senior individuals. This approach allows our teams to amplify their impact and encourages active mentorship and sponsorship throughout each office.
