Alan Gardner joined Advent in 2025 and is a Principal and Head of Public Capital Strategies, based in Boston. He is a member of Advent Global Opportunities, Advent’s public equity platform.
Prior to joining Advent, Alan was a co-founder and Chief Operating Officer at Dockyard Capital Management. He previously served as Head of US Portfolio Sales at BMO Capital Markets and held leadership positions at J.P. Morgan, and Lehman Brothers. Alan began his career at Oppenheimer & Company.
Alan received and BA from Lehigh University.
