Amanda McGrady Morrison joined Advent in 2022. She serves as General Counsel and Chief Legal Officer, and is a Managing Director based in Boston. Amanda is a member of Advent’s Operating Committee (BOLT).
Prior to joining Advent, Amanda was a partner at Ropes & Gray LLP, where she served as the head of the global private equity transactions practice and specialized in representing private equity firms and their portfolio companies in a variety of transactions involving public and private companies. She also served as the co-chair of the Ropes & Gray Women’s Forum.
Amanda holds a BA, summa cum laude, from Wake Forest University and a JD, cum laude, from Harvard Law School.
