Andrew Williams joined Advent in 2021 and is a Director in London. He is a member of the Portfolio Support Group. Andrew works with management teams to improve performance and deliver results needed to realize the investment thesis.
Prior to joining Advent, Andrew was part of the operating team at Providence Strategic Growth, where he worked with European scale up companies in the technology sector supporting go-to-market initiatives. Prior to Providence, he worked with Vista Equity Partners, both as part of the management team of a UK-based portfolio company and initially as part of the operating team in the US. Before this, Andrew worked at Dell, where he was focused on M&A and global transformation. He began his career at Accenture, where he served clients in the communications, high tech, and retail sectors.
Andrew has a BSc in Management Science from the University of Warwick, UK.
