Arjun Gobinath joined Advent in 2020 and is a Director in Mumbai. He is a member of the Portfolio Support Group. Arjun works with management teams to improve performance and deliver results needed to realize the investment thesis.
Prior to joining Advent, Arjun worked for Abbott Laboratories in Mumbai as Commercial Director of Dermatology, where he led a team of more than 500 focused on prescription and over-the-counter brands. At Abbott, he also served as Director of the Project Management Office, where he conceived and delivered several strategic projects spanning new business ventures, growth acceleration, digital transformation, and operational effectiveness. Prior to that, Arjun worked for McKinsey & Company, where he served clients across varied sectors and functions with a particular focus on healthcare and consumer industries in strategy topics across Canada, Germany, India, and Singapore.
Arjun received an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Ahmedabad and a bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
