Carlos Paz joined Advent in 2013 and is a Senior Director in Mexico City. He is Co-Head of the Portfolio Support Group in Latin America. Carlos works with management teams to improve performance and deliver results needed to realize the investment thesis.
Prior to joining Advent, Carlos worked at Walmart in Mexico and Central America in operational and strategy roles. Before that, he spent eight years at the Boston Consulting Group, where he worked in performance improvement assignments for consumer, industrial goods, and financial services companies across Brazil, Mexico, the UK and US.
Carlos holds a BA in Economics from Monterrey Tech (ITESM) and an MBA from Stanford’s Graduate School of Business.
