Jacky Finkelstein joined Advent in 2011 and is a Director in Mexico City. He was one of the first employees of the Bogota office, covering the Andean region, and in 2021, moved to Mexico City to support the team’s investment and portfolio management efforts in the country. He has advised on eleven investments during his career, ten while at Advent.
Jacky previously worked for Corticolombiana (Grupo Aval), Colombia’s largest merchant bank, Deloitte, Colombian Central Bank’s financial markets group, and Desarrollo Empresarial, a boutique investment bank focused on mid-sized companies.
Jacky received a BCom in Finance and Economics from McGill University in Montreal, Canada and an MSc in Management from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
