Jessica Becker joined Advent in 2022 and is a Director in Hamburg. She is a member of the firm’s Portfolio Support Group. Jessica works with management teams to improve performance and deliver results needed to realize the investment thesis.
Prior to joining Advent, Jessica was Managing Director of the Packaged Gases business at Linde, a global industrial gases and engineering company. During her six years at Linde, she began her tenure as Director of Integration during the Linde-Praxair merger before serving as Managing Director of Linde Electronics Europe.
Jessica began her career as a strategy consultant at McKinsey & Company, where she spent six years advising on performance improvements, strategy, and post-merger integration in chemicals, basic materials, and industrials corporations across Europe and the US.
Jessica graduated from Humboldt University, Berlin, and Brandeis University, Boston. She also holds a PhD, summa cum laude, in Biophysics from Jena University, Germany.
