Lucas Marulanda joined Advent in 2015 and is a Director in Bogotá. He advises on investments in the consumer and industrial sectors. Lucas has advised on over a dozen investments during his career, six while at Advent.
Prior to joining Advent, Lucas was a Partner at Inverlink, a leading investment bank in Colombia, where he was responsible for the energy and infrastructure practice. He also was a member of the investment committee of Inverlink Estructuras Inmobiliarias, a real estate fund. Prior to that, Lucas worked as an iinvestment banking associate at Sumatoria, a local boutique firm, advising clients across a broad range of sectors.
Lucas received BS and MS degrees in Industrial Engineering from the Universidad de los Andes, and an MBA from Emory University.
