Martin Barrow joined Advent in 2020 and serves as a Director in the Global Tax Group, based in Boston. In this role, Martin provides assistance on tax matters to investment teams and Advent’s portfolio companies.
Prior to joining Advent, Martin worked at KPMG as a partner in their International Corporate Tax Group, where he focused on advising alternative investment funds in the implementation of tax efficient multinational structures and financing.
Martin received a JD from the University of Texas at Austin in 1999 and a Master of Laws with a concentration in International Business and Company Law from the University of London. Previously, he had obtained bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Accounting (concentrations in Taxation) from the University of Texas at Austin. Martin is a licensed attorney and CPA in Texas.
