Peter Nachtnebel joined Advent in 2009 and is a Director in Frankfurt. He acts as an advisor in the German-speaking region and advises on investments in the industrial and technology sectors. Peter has advised on eight investments while at Advent.
Prior to joining Advent, Peter was a Managing Director at UniCredit Markets & Investment Banking, where he oversaw financial sponsors and leveraged finance for Central and Eastern Europe (CEE), including Austria, Russia, and Turkey. Prior to this, he spent seven years at Creditanstalt (later Bank Austria), latterly as Head of Debt Origination for acquisition and structured finance, having previously led the bank’s CEE Corporate and Project Finance, Telecoms, and Media practice. Peter also helped to establish its Merchant Banking operation. Before joining Creditanstalt, he worked at the Industrial Scientific Institute and was an Economics lecturer at the University of Economics and Business Administration in Vienna.
Peter received an MBA from the University of Economics and Business Administration in Vienna and spent semesters at the Universities of Ohio and Adelaide. He is a CFA Charterholder.
