Rainer Thuerbach joined Advent in 2011 and is a Managing Director in Frankfurt. He acts as an advisor in the German-speaking region and advises on investments in the consumer and industrial sectors. Rainer has advised on 11 investments during his career at Advent.
Prior to joining Advent, Rainer worked in the US Mergers & Acquisitions Group at UBS in New York.
Rainer holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the European Business School (EBS), Germany, and studied abroad at Peking University in Beijing, China.
