Robert Weaver joined Advent in 2015 and is a Managing Director in New York. He was co-head of Advent’s Limited Partner Services Group from 2015 to 2022, and remains focused on fundraising and investor relations activities, primarily in North America and the Middle East.
Previously, Bob was a Partner at TPG, where he coordinated fundraising for the firm’s real estate investment business. Prior to TPG, he was with Morgan Stanley’s Investment Banking Division, where he most recently served as Managing Director and global head of the firm’s Private Capital Markets group. Bob began his career at Chemical Bank in New York.
Bob earned his BA from St. Lawrence University, and received an MBA from the JL Kellogg Graduate School of Management.
