Sarath Akkineni joined Advent in 2022 and serves as Director of Global Production Support, based in Boston. He is responsible for Advent’s Global Service Desk, which supports the business from an IT perspective across regions.
Prior to joining Advent, Sarath spent 12 years at Acadian Asset Management in Boston, where he managed Strategic Planning & Program Management, Software Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, and Global User Engineering functions. Before that, Sarath founded and managed an information technology firm that provided solutions and services to various firms across industry verticals, including Baker Hughes, Bank of America, Fidelity, and Biogen, among others.
Sarath holds an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management and an MS in Computer Science and Engineering from Arizona State University.
