Thomas Huijskens joined Advent in 2024 and is a Vice President in London. He is a member of the Portfolio Support Group, where he focusses on digital, data, and AI transformations across Advent’s European portfolio companies.
Prior to joining Advent, Thomas was the Chief Data Officer at BeZero Carbon, a venture-backed climate technology scale-up based in London. Before that role, he was a Senior Principal Data Scientist at QuantumBlack / Associate Partner at McKinsey & Co, where he focussed on long-term, multi-year partnerships with healthcare clients helping them move from proof-of-concepts to at-scale deployment of ML & AI initiatives across business functions.
Thomas holds a MSc in Statistical Science, with distinction, from the University of Oxford, and a BSc in Applied Mathematics, with distinction, from Delft University of Technology.
