Ugo Posada joined Advent in 2014 and is a Director in Bogotá. He is a member of the Portfolio Support Group. Ugo works with management teams to improve performance and deliver results needed to realize the investment thesis.
Prior to joining Advent, Ugo led the consulting practice of the Social Investment Bank, a nonprofit based in Bogotá. Before that, he worked as a management consultant at Bain & Company in their London and Mexico City offices. Previously, Ugo gained experience in the oil and gas sector when working for BP Plc, with assignments in Colombia, Latin America, and London.
Ugo holds a BSc in Computer Engineering, cum laude, and first in class, from Universidad de los Andes, and an MBA from the JL Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
